Sales Engineer

As a Wearparts Sales Engineer, you will bring an excellent engineering and fabrication background, with the ability to read and work to complex engineering drawings. Previous experience in sales and estimating within a subcontract manufacturing environment is required, along with a comprehensive understanding of key processes including Laser Cutting, Press Braking, Machining, Welding and Fabrication. You will be responsible for developing the market and Hardox Wearparts business in the region – including new segments and applications, and upgrades to more advanced materials. Activities include end-user visits, technical training, identifying marketing opportunities and upgrading projects. You will analyse and develop the strategy to increase end-user reach, manage several customer meetings per week, and independently set up training courses and meetings, with consistent follow-up, reporting and planning.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical or Mining Engineering Working experience in wear solutions offerings in the aftermarket 4–5 years of experience in an end-user segment (mining, cement, etc.); international company experience is a merit Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to prepare accurate reports Strong communication skills to discuss requirements with customers and internal departments Proactive approach to new business opportunities and continuous improvement Strong social skills to build trust and long-term relationships Strategic thinker, confident presenting to colleagues and external customers Fluent English (written and spoken); local language for the job location Valid UAE Driving Licence Employment Type Full-time
