Senior Accountant

We are a Retail Coffee Shops work in coffee and nuts company located in Khalde, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide accurate reporting to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processes. Ensure compliance with Local Tax Laws and regulatory requirements. MOF, VAT, NSSF, & other as per requested by Top Management. The Senior Accountant will oversee import accounting journals, ensuring precise recording of customs, freight, and service invoices. The role also includes cost control responsibilities, with a focus on monitoring import related expenses, identifying variances, and recommend efficiency measures. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Supervise junior accountant and provide guidance on best practices. Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field) Minimum 5 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role. Proficiency in accounting software SAP or equivalent. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and lead a small team.
