Senior Healthcare Solution Architect / HL7 FHIR Consultant

Define and review the overall HIS/EMR software architecture. Design healthcare domain and data models. Guide architecture for Patient, Appointment, Encounter, Clinical, Orders, Results, Billing and Insurance modules. Design scalable multi-tenant SaaS architecture. Define APIs, integration boundaries and event architecture. Establish HL7/FHIR interoperability strategy. Design terminology strategy including ICD, SNOMED CT and LOINC. Prepare the platform for future integration with: NPHIES – Saudi Arabia Riayati – UAE Malaffi – Abu Dhabi NABIDH – Dubai Laboratories, pharmacies, insurers and other healthcare systems Advise on CRM integration with the healthcare platform. Advise on healthcare AI architecture and safe access to clinical data. Review security, RBAC, audit trail and healthcare data protection architecture. Work closely with our existing developer and review technical implementation. Help define the technical roadmap from MVP to production.

Desired Candidate Profile

Strong experience designing or developing HIS, EMR, EHR or healthcare SaaS products. Strong healthcare software architecture experience. HL7 v2 and FHIR R4 experience. Healthcare interoperability and HIE experience. Strong understanding of healthcare clinical workflows and data models. Experience with APIs, databases, security and scalable SaaS architecture. Ability to translate healthcare/business requirements into technical architecture. Ability to work as an architect/advisor alongside an existing development team. Highly Preferred Experience with one or more of: NPHIES Riayati Malaffi NABIDH GCC healthcare systems SNOMED CT LOINC ICD Mirth Connect or similar integration engines Healthcare AI / LLM integrations Medical billing and insurance workflows Employment Type Contract
