Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Position Title: Senior Project Manager Aviation Technology Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Onsite) Experience: 12 18+ Years Industry: Aviation / Airlines / Airport Operations Role Summary We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with strong Aviation domain expertise and deep technical understanding of Cloud, Integration, DevOps, and Digital Transformation programs. The individual will lead a team of approximately 12 technical resources and manage multiple strategic technology initiatives for an airline client. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of aviation business knowledge, technical project delivery expertise, stakeholder management skills, and leadership capabilities to successfully drive complex projects from initiation through production deployment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a portfolio of technology projects within the aviation domain. Manage a team of approximately 12 technical professionals comprising Cloud, Integration, DevOps, and application specialists. Drive project planning, execution, risk management, budgeting, governance, and reporting. Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, airline operations teams, and technical delivery teams. Coordinate cross-functional teams across architecture, infrastructure, cloud, integration, and application development. Ensure successful delivery of projects within scope, schedule, quality, and budget. Provide leadership and guidance on technical and business decisions. Establish project governance, status reporting, and executive communication. Support vendor management and coordination with third-party technology partners. Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and best practices. Required Skills & Experience Aviation Domain 8+ years of experience in Aviation/Airline industry projects. Strong understanding of airline business processes and operations. Technical Expertise Strong understanding of: Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) Integration Platforms and APIs DevOps and CI/CD practices Infrastructure modernization programs Leadership & Project Management Proven experience managing large technical teams. Experience handling multi-million-dollar digital transformation programs. Strong stakeholder and executive management capabilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage geographically distributed teams. Success Profile The candidate should be: Technically strong enough to challenge architects and technical leads. Business-oriented with solid aviation industry understanding. Comfortable managing executives, vendors, and delivery teams.
