Senior Tester (Senior QA Engineer)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tester / Senior QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and user-friendly software products. As a Senior Tester, you will design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, lead test automation initiatives, and mentor junior QA team members while working closely with development, DevOps, product, and business teams.You will be responsible for preventing defects, identifying risks early, and continuously improving our testing processes to support faster and more reliable releases.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for web, mobile, API, and backend applications.Lead the development and execution of automated test suites (UI, API, integration, performance, and regression testing).Mentor and guide junior testers on best practices, test design, and automation techniques.Collaborate with developers and product owners to define acceptance criteria and ensure testability of user stories.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure fast feedback loops.Perform manual exploratory, functional, regression, usability, and end-to-end testing when needed.Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or TestRail.Conduct test environment setup and data management.Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.Execute performance, load, and security testing (in coordination with specialized teams).Participate in code reviews of test automation scripts.Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and test coverage metrics.Contribute to the definition and monitoring of quality KPIs and dashboards.Stay up-to-date with latest testing tools, frameworks, and industry trends.
