Service Engineer (Electrical / Mechatronics) - Heavy Equipment - Piling & Foundation Rigs

Job DescriptionTo provide high-level technical support, diagnostics, and maintenance for Soilmec piling rigs and other heavy machinery (Loaders, Excavators). The role bridges the gap between complex electronic control systems and mechanical/hydraulic performance to ensure zero downtime and peak machine efficiency. Key Responsibilities:Advanced Diagnostics: Utilize Soilmec DMS (Drilling Mate System) and diagnostic software to troubleshoot engine, hydraulic, and control system faults.System Integration: Calibrate and repair mechatronic components, including sensors (depth, inclination, pressure), actuators, and solenoid valves.Electrical Maintenance: Read and interpret complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Repair low-voltage circuits, alternators, and control panels.Electro-Hydraulic Troubleshooting: Diagnose failures in the interaction between electronic controllers and hydraulic pumps/motors.Preventive & Corrective Action: Execute scheduled maintenance according to Soilmec standards and lead emergency on-site repairs for foundation equipment.Technical Reporting: Prepare detailed service reports, failure analysis (RCA), and maintain records of machine "health" and hours of operation.Parts Identification: Precisely identify required spare parts using Soilmec electronic parts catalogs (EPC).
