Site Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate on-site construction/installation work (for a tents & shades company, this likely includes structural steel work, membrane/fabric installation, foundations, and civil works) Interpret and implement drawings, technical specifications, and project plans Conduct site surveys, measurements, and setting out works Monitor progress against the project schedule and report delays or issues Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams Ensure compliance with health & safety (HSE) standards on site Maintain daily site reports, progress photos, and documentation Liaise with QA/QC Engineer to ensure quality standards are met Assist with material take-offs and site-level procurement needs Resolve on-site technical issues and escalate to project manager when needed Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 2–5 years of relevant site experience (construction, tensile structures, landscaping, or similar) UAE experience preferred, especially in Sharjah/Dubai market Skills Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and standards Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drawing software Good communication skills (English; Arabic/Hindi a plus depending on workforce) Ability to manage multiple site activities simultaneously Problem-solving and decision-making under time pressure Employment Type Full-time Company Industry ConstructionCivil Engineering Department / Functional Area Surveying (Civil) Keywords Civil EngineerSite ManagerSite Architect Get real-time job updates only on our App
