We are looking for a customer-facing Solutions Engineer who values curiosity, a sense of urgency, and finding innovative ways to help our customers to join our team in Dubai. Shape the Future of the Internet As a Solutions Engineer, you won't just wait for a polished roadmap. You will act as a trusted advisor, identifying normalized technical problems, building technical champions within global accounts, and designing fit-for-purpose cloud and security solutions across our entire platform. As a Solutions Engineer II, you will be responsible for: Driving Pre-Sales Innovation: Own the end-to-end technical pre-sales process, creating new opportunities by demonstrating how Akamai's technology solves real business problems. Architecting and executing high-impact product demos, Customer Analysis Reports, and Proof of Concept (POC) trials. Partnering with sales and customer executive leadership to align customer initiatives with Akamai's platform capabilities. Collaborating with engineering teams to become a Subject Matter Expert, sharing insights through technical content, community engagement, and industry events. Delivering Accurate Architectures: Manage technical proposals, ensuring optimal recommendations for complex web, security, and cloud deployment workflows. Experience

Background in technical pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or customer-facing architect roles supporting enterprise accounts. Have Core Internet & Cloud Expertise: Solid grasp of internet architectures, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and hybrid cloud environments. Have Security & Edge Knowledge: Hands-on experience with WAF, DDoS protection, Bot Management, and Zero Trust/remote access architectures. Be communicative & Storyteller: ability to explain complex network and security transformations to both developers and C-level executives. Have professional fluency in Arabic and English. We're looking for highly driven team players who work with a sense of urgency, thrive in fast-changing environments, and leverage modern tools to solve tough problems.
