Specification Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Promote company products to consultants, architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and developers. Secure product specifications in project tender documents. Review project specifications and recommend suitable products and solutions. Track upcoming projects and identify specification opportunities. Follow up on vendor listing (VL), prequalification (PQ), and product approvals. Coordinate with sales teams to convert specifications into actual sales. Maintain relationships with consultants, project managers, and key decision-makers. Monitor competitor specifications and market activities. Prepare weekly and monthly specification reports. Support technical submittals, compliance documentation, and product approvals. Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions to promote company products and strengthen industry relationships. Desired Candidate Profile Strong communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of HVAC insulation, fire standards, and construction specifications. Ability to read drawings, BOQs, and project specifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. Good relationship-building and negotiation skills. Valid UAE driving license preferred. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 2 to 5 years of experience in specification sales, technical sales, or HVAC/building materials. GCC experience preferred. Preferred Competencies Technical understanding of insulation systems and building materials. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Customer-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills. Understanding of consultant approval processes and project specification workflows.
