Structure Design Team Leader Engineer

Lead, plan, and supervise structural design activities across assigned projects. Review, validate, and approve structural calculations, drawings, and design reports. Ensure all structural designs comply with local and international codes and standards (e.g., ECP, ACI, BS, Eurocodes). Coordinate structural designs with architectural, MEP, BIM, and construction teams to ensure full integration and clash-free designs. Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and performance support to structural engineers and junior team members. Participate in value engineering, constructability reviews, and design optimization initiatives. Resolve complex structural design issues arising during design development and construction phases. Support tendering and pre-construction activities by reviewing structural concepts, BOQs, and technical specifications. Liaise with external consultants, reviewers, and authorities when required. Monitor team workload, resource allocation, and design schedules to meet project deadlines. Ensure proper documentation, version control, and adherence to company design procedures. Support site teams with technical clarifications, method statements, and structural solutions. Contribute to continuous improvement of structural design standards, templates, and best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in civil engineering. 7 10 years of experience in structural design within a construction or engineering environment 3 5 years of experience in a team leader or senior structural engineer role Structural Analysis Software ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 (or equivalent) Computer-aided design (CAD) software Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit (Structure)
