Technician- NDT (PCN)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using PCN certified methods like Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Eddy Current Testing (ECT) to detect surface and subsurface flaws. Interpret and evaluate NDT test results against applicable codes, standards, and specifications, identifying and documenting any discontinuities. Prepare detailed inspection reports, clearly outlining findings, methodologies used, and recommendations for further action or acceptance. Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with calibration schedules and manufacturer guidelines. Desired Candidate Profile Possess a valid PCN Level 2 certification in at least two NDT methods (e.g., UT, MPT, DPT, VT, or ECT). Hold a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an NDT Technician in relevant industries such as oil & gas, fabrication, or manufacturing. Have a strong understanding of material science, welding processes, and common defect types. Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and codes (e.g., ASME, API, BS EN).
