Vaccine Account Manager
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Purpose As an Account Manager – Vaccines, you will manage vaccine portfolios across your assigned territory through effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders. You will deliver patient-focused scientific engagement tailored to healthcare professionals (HCPs), support timely availability of medically critical vaccines for patients, and drive account-level access and formulary inclusion. You will be accountable for achieving the yearly sales targets in your territory and therapy area, while supporting your line manager in implementing commercial strategies through an end-to-end, solutions-driven approach to account management. Key Responsibilities Commercial & Account Management Achieve territory sales targets and key performance indicators, contributing to overall country objectives for the relevant therapy area. Execute commercial strategies in a defined territory and offer appropriate solutions by acting as a trusted advisor to HCPs. Monitor product performance on a weekly and monthly basis and recommend actions through a robust territory business plan aligned with commercial strategy. Support defined marketing activities and implementation of the annual operational plan, including development and rollout of new campaigns based on market needs, in alignment with medical and regulatory requirements. Develop market intelligence and support forecasting in collaboration with commercial, trade channel, and marketing teams to reflect actual market demand. Drive end-to-end patient solutions and tracking to support the supply process, coordinating with supply chain and trade channel teams to help ensure product availability and appropriate shelf-life management. Collaborate with tender teams to provide timely feedback on proposed prices, follow up on RFQs, and support the overall tender process in coordination with first-line sales leadership. Coordinate with market access teams to develop and implement access plans for key accounts within the territory. Conduct frequent, effective external meetings with HCPs to support disease and product awareness and education in line with promotional governance. Prioritize activities and resources through robust market segmentation and targeting to optimize impact across the assigned territory. Build long-term relationships with scientific societies and key external experts to support advocacy and patient care across the region. Deliver high-quality, patient-focused scientific engagement by demonstrating strong product and disease knowledge and appropriate use of approved materials. Ensure all expenses are managed within approved budgets and resources are optimized. Basic Qualifications Saudi National. A bachelor’s degree in pharmacy. A valid SCFHS license as a certified pharmacist in Saudi Arabia. Minimum 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical field (sales, medical, or related commercial role). Demonstrated track record of effective territory management and strong field performance against agreed KPIs. Preferred Qualifications Experience in vaccines. Experience in diabetes and cardiovascular therapeutic areas. Valid driver’s license; where a license is not held, ability to meet business needs through a safe and reliable alternative in line with GSK requirements. Experience managing public sector accounts. Experience in product launches. Ability to manage large geographic territories, including remote areas and cities, with a proven record of performance against agreed KPIs and quality standards for patient-focused scientific engagement. Solid understanding of the customer–channel–commercial (CCC) cycle and how to manage stakeholders across the supply process, including distributor relationships and tender processes. Well-developed commercial acumen, including business analytics, business case development, and commercial modelling. Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and readiness to adopt GSK’s evolving ways of working instead of traditional models. High commitment to ethical, values-based decision-making.
