Assistant Risk Manager

Key Responsibilities Assist in the design and execution of the company s risk management strategy, policies, and procedures. Identify, analyze, and evaluate emerging risks (operational, financial, strategic, and compliance) using quantitative and qualitative methods. Prepare comprehensive risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and the board. Coordinate risk assessments across departments, facilitating workshops and interviews to gather risk intelligence. Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and early warning signals, recommending mitigation actions. Support the implementation and testing of internal controls and risk mitigation plans. Ensure alignment with local regulatory requirements (SAMA, CMA, or other relevant Saudi authorities) and industry best practices. Collaborate with internal audit, compliance, and legal teams to close gaps and strengthen the control environment. Stay updated on global and regional risk trends, including cyber, ESG, and geopolitical factors. Assist in crisis management and business continuity planning as part of the overall risk framework. Desired Candidate Profile

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (FRM, PRM, CRM, or CIA) is a strong plus.

Experience

Minimum 4-6 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, or compliance, preferably within banking, consulting, or large corporates.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in risk assessment tools, data analytics (Excel, SQL, Power BI), and ERM software
• Familiarity with ISO 31000 or COSO frameworks
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills; Arabic is an advantage
