Business Analyst

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Analyze divisional performance, profitability, revenue trends, project costs, and margins. Prepare MIS reports, KPI dashboards, and management reports for leadership. Monitor project budgets, billing, cost variances, and operational efficiency. Support budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and financial performance reviews. Conduct profitability analysis by project, customer, and business unit. Track fleet utilization, asset deployment, resource allocation, and workforce productivity. Identify operational gaps and recommend process improvement initiatives. Support equipment planning and resource optimization across projects. Develop analytical reports and dashboards using MS Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems. Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Commercial teams to improve business performance. Provide data-driven insights to support strategic planning and management decision-making. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA in Finance, Business Management, or an equivalent specialization (Mandatory). 2–5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Financial Analysis, Industrial Operations, Heavy Equipment, Equipment Rental, Transport, Logistics, Construction, or Engineering sectors. Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, project costing, variance analysis, and profitability analysis. Good understanding of fleet utilization, resource planning, operational KPIs, and performance management. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools. Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, operational business environment.
