Commercial Manager

Develop and execute strategic commercial plans that align with the organization's goals, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability. Manage the overall commercial performance of fit-out and interior projects from tender stage through final account. Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs and scope of work. Coordinate with the design, estimation and procurement teams during tendering. Manage variations, claims, subcontractor payments, extensions of time and additional works. Identify cost overruns and implement corrective actions. Report on revenue, cost, gross margin, variations, claims and cash flow. Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers, focusing on favorable terms that enhance profitability and strengthen relationships. Coordinate with finance regarding collections and cash flow. Develop commercial procedures and improve cost-control systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial management, estimation or quantity surveying. Professional certifications such as Construction Management, PMP or similar credentials are advantageous. Experience in sectors like construction, interiors & fit out or contracting firms is preferred to understand specific market dynamics. Employment Type Full-time
