Cost Control Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for controlling project cost performance, forecasting final cost, supporting change management, and providing accurate financial and commercial visibility to project and executive management. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement cost control processes and procedures to track and manage project costs. Assist in preparing project budgets in cooperation with all concerned parties. Monitor and capture actual costs against budgets and identify variances, providing analysis and recommendations. Integrate the work progress with the incurred costs to develop the cost KPIs Prepare detailed forecasting reports, accurately highlight variances, and propose corrective actions. Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to optimize costs. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements Prepare regular cost control reports for management review Maintain cost records and documentation to support audits and compliance Capacity to analyze financial data, identify cost trends, and provide recommendations for improvements Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications & Technical Skills Bachelor's degree in engineering 6-8 years of experience in cost control Hold recognized certificates related to cost management is preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in cost estimating, budgeting, and cost accounting principles Advanced skills using Excel is a must Power BI is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Employment Type Full Time Company Industry ConstructionCivil Engineering Department / Functional Area Engineering Keywords Cost Control EngineerCost Control Get real-time job updates only on our App
