Data Scientist

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking a seasoned Data Scientist to join our Abu Dhabi team. In this role, you will leverage advanced machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing techniques to build, deploy, and refine models that drive data-driven decision-making across our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business challenges into analytical solutions and mentor junior team members. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end machine learning and deep learning models using Python and PyTorch Build and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) for NLP tasks such as text classification, information extraction, and conversational AI Conduct statistical analysis, data exploration, and feature engineering to support model development Collaborate with data engineers to design scalable data pipelines and ensure data quality Translate business requirements into technical specifications and present findings to senior leadership Optimize and monitor model performance in production, implementing retraining and continuous improvement processes Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering best practices in coding, modeling, and experimentation Desired Candidate Profile 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist or similar role Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field Expertise in Python programming with strong coding and debugging skills Proven experience with PyTorch for building and training deep learning models In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, and statistical modeling Hands-on experience developing and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) Strong background in natural language processing (NLP) techniques and toolkits Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, AI, or Data Science Experience deploying machine learning models on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) Familiarity with MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Domain experience in oil & gas, finance, or government sectors Proven leadership experience managing small technical teams or data science projects Publications or contributions to open-source machine learning libraries Company Industry IT - Software Services Department / Functional Area IT Software Keywords Data Scientist Get real-time job updates only on our App
