HVAC Technician cum Driver

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Key Purpose To carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of HVAC systems while also safely operating company vehicles to transport technicians, tools, materials, and equipment to various work sites. The role ensures timely maintenance services while maintaining compliance with company safety standards and UAE traffic regulations. Key Responsibilities HVAC Technician Duties Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on HVAC equipment. Diagnose and repair faults in split AC units, package units, ducted split systems, FCUs, AHUs, exhaust and ventilation systems. Inspect, clean, and replace filters, belts, motors, coils, thermostats, and other HVAC components. Carry out refrigerant charging, leak detection, pressure testing, and system performance checks. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical specifications. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company procedures. Complete maintenance reports, inspection checklists, and service records accurately. Coordinate with supervisors to ensure timely completion of assigned work orders. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Driver Duties Safely drive company vehicles to transport technicians, materials, tools, and spare parts between sites. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements. Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained. Follow UAE traffic laws and company driving policies at all times. Assist in loading and unloading tools, materials, and equipment. Maintain vehicle logbooks, fuel records, and trip reports where required Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications ITI/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or Mechanical Engineering. Valid UAE Manual Driving Licence (Light Vehicle) is mandatory. Certification in HVAC maintenance is an advantage. Experience Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance. Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial HVAC systems. Proven experience driving company vehicles in the UAE. Technical Skills Good knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and refrigeration principles. Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults. Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures. Ability to use HVAC testing instruments and hand tools. Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation. Competencies Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards. Physical Requirements Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
