IT Engineer

Strong knowledge of network administration and infrastructure. Hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls and VPN configuration. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure administration. Experience with CCTV systems and surveillance technologies. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, LAN/WAN, and wireless networking. Knowledge of telecommunication equipment, signal transmission, and structured cabling. Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, network security, and access control. Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions. Proficiency in hardware and software installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Other Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize urgent technical issues. Willingness to learn and keep updated with new IT, networking, cloud, and telecommunications technologies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, and telecommunications. Previous experience in a similar IT/Telecommunication Engineer position is preferred. Relevant professional certifications such as Fortinet, Microsoft, CCNA, or equivalent are an advantage. Employment Type Full-time
