Planning Analyst - Supply Chain Department

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Executive – Planning & Analytics to join our Supply Chain – Planning team. The role will support material and production planning, demand forecasting, data analysis, and management reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Advanced MS Excel, statistical and mathematical analysis, forecasting, and supply chain planning, with the ability to convert data into actionable business insights and work effectively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and monitor material and production plans based on sales requirements, demand forecasts, inventory, and production capacity. Ensure timely availability of finished products, packaging materials (PM), and bulk materials as per the planning cycle. Develop priority production plans and coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Sales, and other departments for timely execution. Support demand planning and forecasting by analyzing historical sales, consumption, trends, seasonality, and inventory data. Monitor planned vs. actual production, identify gaps, and highlight potential material or supply constraints. Analyze planning and supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, variances, and improvement opportunities. Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, analytical reports, and management presentations using Excel and Power BI. Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based planning tools, trackers, dashboards, and analytical models. Maintain accuracy of relevant planning master data in SAP and support MRP-related planning activities. Provide ad-hoc data analysis and management reports to support business and planning decisions. Desired Candidate Profile Advanced MS Excel with strong knowledge of mathematical and statistical functions. Strong understanding of Demand Planning, Forecasting, Production Planning, Material Planning, and Inventory Planning. Good knowledge of statistical analysis, trend analysis, forecasting techniques, and data interpretation. Strong expertise in Excel dashboards, Pivot Tables, charts, data analysis, and reporting. Knowledge of Power BI and data visualization. Good understanding of MRP and Supply Chain processes within a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of SAP, particularly planning-related data and master data. Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work with large datasets and convert data into meaningful business insights. Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
