Planning Manager – Interior Fit-Out

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities The Planning Manager will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for interior fit-out projects, ensuring timely project delivery in line with contractual requirements. The role involves coordinating with project teams, monitoring progress, identifying schedule risks, preparing recovery plans, and providing accurate planning reports to management, clients, and consultants. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 in coordination with project, commercial, procurement, and design teams. Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify potential delays and critical path activities. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, S-Curves, and project performance updates for management and clients. Analyze project delays and prepare recovery programs to mitigate schedule risks and maintain project milestones. Coordinate with project managers, site teams, procurement, joinery factory, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project timelines. Conduct resource planning and monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization to support efficient project execution. Support project teams in preparing extension of time (EOT) claims and delay analysis where applicable. Participate in client and consultant meetings, providing schedule updates and project forecasts. Ensure planning procedures comply with company standards and contractual requirements. Continuously review project performance and recommend improvements to enhance planning efficiency and project delivery. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design Primavera P6 Certification is preferred. Experience Minimum 10+ years of planning experience within the Interior Fit-Out industry. Proven UAE/GCC experience managing planning activities for commercial, hospitality, residential, retail, and high-end fit-out projects. Strong understanding of project sequencing, procurement planning, construction methodologies, and contract schedules. Experience working with developers, consultants, contractors, and Project Management Consultants (PMCs) is highly desirable. Experience in high-end Interior Fit-Out projects with leading UAE/GCC contractors is highly preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
