Job Overview
Manage the complete project lifecycle, from initial planning and mobilisation through execution, completion and handover. Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, schedules and resource requirements in coordination with clients and management. Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress against approved milestones, budgets and performance targets. Lead project teams, assign responsibilities and ensure effective coordination between internal departments and external partners. Manage project budgets, review expenditure, forecast costs and implement measures to control financial performance. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain delivery schedules. Identify project risks, maintain risk registers and implement appropriate mitigation and recovery plans. Monitor procurement activities and ensure materials, equipment and services are available when required. Review contract requirements, manage change requests and support the assessment of variations and claims. Ensure project activities meet agreed quality standards, contractual obligations and applicable requirements. Promote safe working practices and coordinate with relevant teams to address health, safety and environmental concerns. Prepare progress reports and present project performance, risks and key decisions to senior management. Resolve delivery challenges, manage competing priorities and take corrective action when projects fall behind schedule. Maintain accurate project documentation, approvals, correspondence and performance records. Coordinate final inspections, outstanding work, client acceptance and project handover. For the Project Director role, provide strategic oversight across multiple projects and guide project managers to achieve organisational objectives.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Information Technology or another discipline relevant to the vacancy. Proven experience managing projects within [industry], with a record of delivering agreed scope, quality, budgets and schedules. Experience appropriate to the advertised position, including senior leadership responsibilities for Project Director applicants. Strong skills in project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management and stakeholder coordination. Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage contractors, consultants and suppliers effectively. Sound understanding of contracts, procurement processes, change control and project reporting. Proficiency in relevant project management tools, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or equivalent software. PMP or a comparable project management certification preferred. Saudi Arabia or GCC project experience preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, leadership and problem-solving skills. Employment Type Full-time
