Senior Database Geologist

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities The Senior Database Geologist supports the Chief Database Geoscientist in implementing changes to importing procedures and database customizations. They are also responsible for continually reviewing and maintaining the integrity and quality of the exploration data. They will train users in database software and assist in data importation. Job requirements Extensive knowledge of SQL and SQL Server Management Studio. Extensive experience in Fusion, DataShed or Aquire. Focus on error prevention rather than error correction. Detail oriented Can readily recognize anomalous data Ready to integrate exploration principles with data management Knowledge in Python and any big data analytical tools will be added advantage Skill in any Business inteligence visualisation tool (Power BI, Tableaue) will be added advantage. Multi-cultural experience Strong communication skills Open minded and able to accommodate the needs of the exploration team Logical and organized Follows up to ensure timely task completion and quality results Agile and adaptable to changes.
