Senior Emulation Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We re looking for a Senior Emulation Engineer to join our Consulting team in Cairo, Egypt. Area of Responsibility Collaborate with a worldwide team of industry experts within the Consulting team, working with Siemens DISW customers on state-of-the-art technologies across various domains, including telecommunications, automotive, machine learning, and others. Work closely with customers and the sales organization to identify business needs and requirements. Architect and implement optimal solutions using Siemens DISW tools and methodologies. Apply strong technical expertise in the emulation domain to deliver effective customer solutions. Define and develop the consulting solutions and services provided to customers. Promote the team s offerings, capabilities, and technical expertise. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants. Desired Candidate Profile B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. 6+ years of relevant work experience. Practical experience with emulation flows using Veloce/VPS for compilation and runtime. Strong knowledge of design mapping, testbench mapping, and transactor development. Expertise in hardware/software debugging solutions related to the Veloce emulation flow. Proficiency in HDLs (Verilog/SystemVerilog) for RTL design and HVLs (SystemVerilog/UVM) for verification. Good understanding of functional verification and RTL synthesis. Knowledge of standard interface protocols such as PCIe, AMBA, UCIe, and/or DDR. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and/or Perl. Familiarity with data center hosting and cloud-based solutions is a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills. An outgoing and enthusiastic personality. Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies as needed. Ability and willingness to travel abroad for short- and long-term assignments.
