Senior Network Engineer

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network and security infrastructures. The ideal candidate will provide advanced technical support, troubleshoot complex networking issues, coordinate with technology vendors, and ensure high service availability while meeting customer SLAs. Key Responsibilities Provide expert support for enterprise routing, switching, wireless, security, and SD-WAN solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security incidents within SLA targets. Configure, maintain, and optimize Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and multi-vendor environments. Coordinate with vendors for escalations, software updates, and technical support. Prepare technical documentation, including Plans of Action (POA), Incident Reports, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Monitor network performance and recommend improvements for reliability and security. Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and change management activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations. Technical Skills Strong expertise in Cisco Routing & Switching, Wireless, Security, and SD-WAN. Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet security solutions. In-depth knowledge of enterprise networking, firewalls, VPNs, and network security. Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Soft Skills Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict SLA commitments. Leadership and mentoring capabilities. Excellent documentation and reporting skills. Team-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Experience & Certifications Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise networking and security. Cisco CCIE certification preferred (or equivalent expert-level certification). Additional certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE, or NSE are an advantage. Working Requirements Ability to participate in on-call support and emergency maintenance when required. Willingness to work outside business hours during planned upgrades or critical incidents.
