Shop Drawings & As-Built Reviewer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shop Drawings & As-Built Reviewer to join our team. The Shop Drawings & As-Built Reviewer will be responsible for reviewing, coordinating, and verifying construction drawings, shop drawings, coordination drawings, redlines, as-built submissions, and related technical documentation for infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, technical drawing knowledge, document control awareness, and infrastructure coordination experience. Responsibilities: Review shop drawings, coordination drawings, redline drawings, as-built drawings, and close-out documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance. Check drawing consistency against design drawings, approved changes, site conditions, survey data, utility records, and project specifications. Coordinate with discipline engineers, contractors, designers, BIM teams, survey teams, and document control teams to resolve drawing-related comments. Track drawing review comments, revisions, approvals, submissions, and close-out status in coordination with document control procedures. Verify that as-built drawings reflect installed works, approved deviations, final levels, coordinates, utilities, and constructed details. Support the preparation of final records, handover packages, drawing registers, and project close-out deliverables. Prepare review comments, technical observations, drawing status reports, and coordination records. Provide recommendations for improving drawing review workflows, as-built accuracy, and documentation quality. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, BIM, or a related field. Proven work experience of at least 7 years reviewing shop drawings, as-built drawings, coordination drawings, and infrastructure documentation. In-depth knowledge of drawing review processes, construction documentation, utility coordination, design interfaces, and as-built verification. Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit/Navisworks or similar tools, PDF markup tools, and Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review drawings, redlines, design revisions, coordination drawings, and close-out submissions. Excellent document control awareness, reporting, coordination, and communication skills. Drawing review and as-built documentation experience, preferably fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
