Welfare Officer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Overall responsibility in ensuring welfare activities for employees are effectively managed and implemented Handle employee complaints, counseling and grievance Identify and address issues, concerns, root cause of an employee and any matter that needs escalation to the Management Visit all Dulsco employee accommodations/camps to conduct welfare related activities Handle resignation cases to understand the reason and possibility of retaining a separating employee Provide support to Operations team in handling late leave return cases and disciplinary cases Initiate disciplinary actions, including recommendations of warning, suspension or termination Maintain welfare related MIS/Reports/Updates Deliver employee welfare related trainings Other responsibilities as maybe assigned from time to time Training and Induction: Follow up with the schedule of new arrivals and organize induction within 48 hours of arrival Maintain a log of observation during induction Keep the recruitment team and other support departments informed of these observations Maintain attendance record and separation reasons of new arrivals Ensure necessary assistance and care is given to employee who has undergone medical treatment and residing at our accommodations and coordinate with DMC on the same Engage idle employees through various activities including training Accommodation Visits Prepare a monthly visit schedule Arrange to follow up with the new arrivals Coordinate with the accommodation and time keepers to meet with employees. Meet with the absentees to understand and motivate to report to work. Prepare follow up programs on the needs analysis Reports and Presentation Prepare a weekly report to discuss with the team and line manager Prepare a monthly report to quantum the interactions and effect of the welfare activities. Keep a log of the day to day activities on welfare share point. Separation and exit interviews Counsel the resigned employees to withdraw resignation Follow up with medical cases in the early repatriation Other Responsibilities Identify talents and update for internal talent pool Organize at least 1 employee engagement program per month KPI Timelines: 5 camp visits / week Interact with at least 50 employees/week Identify new Talents Identify and Counsel habitual absentees Proactive in reducing separations Participate / conduct 1 training and awareness /week Effective resolution of all employee complaints within 48 hours. Immediate escalation to management for all matters that need intervention to prevent further aggravation. Desired Candidate Profile Preferred MSW/ MA Sociology - open to any candidates with a Bachelor degree.
